Perfectionist 2013 of the Californian estate Linne Calodo reveals itself in power and richness. Syrah is grown on plots with a coldest climate to bring complexity and elegance. As for Mourvèdre and Grenache, they are co-fermented without destemming, which gives the wine a special identity and a lot of structure. The Paso Robles Perfectionist 2013 is aged in concrete vats, to avoid any ageing aroma and thus expressing the authenticity quintessence of its terroir. The nose is aromatically very flattering. Notes of black fruits, smoked meat embellished with olives tapenade. On the palate the wine is warm, ample, with a beautiful depth. Powerful, rich and elegant, this cuvée is full of gourmandise. Delicious with beef tournedos, leg of lamb, Roasted Wild Duck, Asian dishes, cheese (Saint-Nectaire, Roquefort).
Since 1755, viticulture has fascinated the Jeanniard family. It is also out of passion that Alain Jeanniard undertakes in 1999 a reconversion from the industrial world to the wine world. The domain consists of several well-known premier crus. 1er Cru-les Damodes 2017 comes from 90 years old vines, planted on the famous Vosne-Romanée hillsides.
